Projects Summary
Unity Power Plant South Sudan
UGI Corporation successfully completed multi-discipline engineering services for the expansion of the Unity Power Plant in South Sudan, increasing the installed generation capacity to approximately 56 MW to support critical upstream oil and gas operations in the Unity oilfields. The project was executed as a brownfield expansion, integrating new power generation units with the existing plant while maintaining operational continuity and reliability.
The completed scope covered detailed electrical, instrumentation, and control engineering for power generation packages, auxiliary systems, medium- and low-voltage switchgear, transformers, protection and control systems, and associated power distribution networks. In line with the approved document index, UGI prepared and reviewed 80+ engineering deliverables, including load lists, single-line diagrams, equipment specifications and datasheets, cable schedules, P&IDs, instrument hook-up drawings, cause-and-effect diagrams, control philosophies, termination drawings, and construction-ready layouts.
UGI also performed technical bid evaluations and cost comparisons to support informed procurement decisions, ensuring full compliance with IEC, IEEE, and client specifications. The completed engineering supported safe, efficient, and timely execution of the power plant expansion, providing reliable power infrastructure essential for sustained field production and facility operations in the Unity area.

Well-Head Development, South Sudan, Africa
We successfully completed the EPCM (Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management) of four wellhead developments. Our team handled all engineering and project management activities, ensuring seamless integration and execution. From initial design and procurement to construction oversight and final commissioning, we delivered a comprehensive solution that met all project requirements and timelines. This achievement underscores our commitment to excellence and our capability to manage complex projects efficiently.

FSF Project South Sudan, Africa
UGI Corporation successfully completed with multi-discipline engineering services for the Field Surface Facilities (FSF) and Power Distribution System project for Dar Petroleum Operating Company (DPOC) in South Sudan, executed under an intragroup engineering services contract with Petroman Engineering and Consultancy Services. The completed scope covered detailed engineering for wellhead tie-ins, pipelines, sand trap skids, pig launcher and receiver systems, instrumentation, electrical systems, and cathodic protection.
UGI prepared and reviewed more than 70+ engineering deliverables, including material take-offs, material requisitions, approved datasheets, and construction-ready drawings, and executed technical bid evaluations and cost comparisons across multiple vendors. The work spanned key disciplines including Electrical (23 documents), Mechanical (13), Instrumentation (10), and Piping, ensuring full compliance with DPOC specifications, API/ASME standards, and project schedule requirements. The project enabled timely procurement decisions and supported successful execution of FSF infrastructure for operations.
Flare System Upgrade Study, Nigeria
UGI Corporation conducted an engineering study for modifications to an existing flare system at a hydrocarbon-processing facility in Nigeria. The scope included review of pressure safety valves, assessment of required PSV modifications, evaluation of the existing flare system, and engineering assessment of a new flare stack.
Power Plant Support- HRSG
Provided technical support for Heat Recovery Steam generation system of combined cycle power plant II (220 MW) at K-Electric. Reviewed Turbine exhaust, Heat exchangers, HRSG, Steam Turbine, Flue Gas by-pass system. Augmentation in plant utilities like Firefighting, Fuel Gas, Instrument air & related.
LPG process plant of 100 MMSCFD
UGI Corporation provided Basic Engineering support for the development of a 100 MMSCFD LPG processing facility. The project scope included an amine gas sweetening unit, a feasibility assessment for LPG recovery, utilities, offsite systems, and associated facilities.
UGI team also participated in the project HAZOP and Safety Integrity Level studies to support the safe and reliable design of the facility.
